It's been only a couple of weeks back that the smartphone brand Realme, backed by Oppo electronics launched its Budget and Mid range Quad camera smartphone series Realme 5 & Realme 5 Pro in India.
Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro smartphones have been of great success for the brand with the first sale figures of around 1.20 lacs and 1.30 lac units for the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro respectively.

Realme 5 comes with 6.5-inches LCD waterdrop notch display with 89% screen to body ratio along with the Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It comes equipped with the latest Snapdragon 665 AIE Octa-core chipset that also powers the Xiaomi's latest Android One smartphone MiA3.

Realme 5 comes in 3 variants- the base model being 3GB+32GB, 4GB+64GB and the top variant with 4GB+128 GB with an option of expanding the storage upto 256 GB through dedicated microSD slot with price starting from ₹9,999.

In the Camera department, Realme 5 comes with 12MP main rear sensor with 8MP wide-angle camera, 2MP Portrait lens and 2MP Macro sensor along with 13 Megapixel front shooter with f/2.0 aperture. And to keep the phone powered it comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery that is enough to give a backup for around 2 days.

On the other hand Realme 5 Pro comes with 6.3-inches dewdrop full screen LCD display with 90.6% screen-to-body ratio. It comes powered by Snapdragon 712 AIE Octa-core chipset coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM along with the storage options of 64GB and 128GB.

In the Camera department, it comes with Quad camera setup at the back with 48MP main sensor, 8MP-119° wide-angle lens, 2MP Portrait lens and 2MP macro lens  along with the support of 10x digital zoom and nightscape feature.

On the front, it comes with the 16 Megapixel Sony IMX 471 sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It comes with a 4035 mAh battery with support of VOOC 3.0 20 Watt fast charging.

At the launch event of Realme 5 series, the brand also announced the launch of India's first 64 Megapixel Quad camera smartphone with name Realme XT very soon. But it wasn't known to anyone that Realme XT would be launched just two and half weeks later the launch of Realme 5 series in India.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has recently officially launched the Realme XT on September 13th at 12:30PM and the phone is exclusively available for Sale on Flipkart and Realme website.
